Nordic Council

The Joint Committee for Agricultural and Food Research, Nordic Council and the Nordic Council of Ministers have a number of different smaller funding schemes and programmes that also apply to the NMBU.

NordForsk is an entity under the Nordic Council of Ministers that finances Nordic research collaboration and provides advice on Nordic research policy. NordForsk supports research collaboration within all academic fields. 

Nordic Innovation is a Nordic institution that works to stimulate trade and innovation across national borders. Nordic Innovation supports research projects within selected fields. 

Novo Nordisk

The Novo Nordisk fund supports research within various fields in the Nordic region. 

NOVA

The Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural University Network NOVA provides funding for "NOVA intensive PhD Courses, NOVA intensive MSc/BSc courses" and "Planning and networking grants for all levels.

Nordic Research Councils for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (NOS-HS)

NOS-HS is a joint committee for the research councils in the Nordic region and is responsible for research in the humanities and social sciences. 

Letterstedtska Föreningen

Letterstedtska Föreningen advertises approximately NOK 2 million each year for research projects of general interest to the Nordic region.

Nordiska Afrikainstitutet

Nordiska Afrikainstitutet in Uppsala offers a number of fellowship schemes, i.e. for field work, PhD education and visiting researchers.
