Approx. 180 students have arrived, and 75 on exchange will arrive later in August.

About the same amount of students applied to NMBU as last year, but this year many more accepted.

Most of the students are from European countries, and for the first time we can also welcome a student from Andorra.

Whitney Richardson from Washington, USA, has arrived Ås to study International Environmental Studies. She says:

"The financial aspects of studying at a Norwegian university is the main reason for my choice."
