Neal Alexander is Reader in Medical Statistics and Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where he is a member of the MRC Tropical Epidemiology Group.
Since 2004 he has been based in Colombia and also works at CIDEIM. As well as the ‘Healthy Schools’ project, he has worked on cluster-randomized trials of interventions against dengue, malaria and lymphatic filariasis.
He was previously based in Nigeria and Papua New Guinea. He completed his PhD in 1998 on the epidemiology of lymphatic filariasis.
