This Horizon 2020 project is a large-scale social and technological research effort to understand human security in post-conflict areas. The project spans 4 continents and hosts more than 30 researchers at 15 different institutions.
Ingrid Nyborg, Associate Professor at NMBU's Department of International Environment and Development Studies, Noragric, is the project leader. Nyborg has extensive experience in research and teaching in human security and post conflict development, with a specific focus on gender in development. She has worked extensively in Africa, as well as South Asia, where her most recent research has focused on post-conflict development in Afghanistan and Pakistan. She has considerable experience in project leadership, action research with civil society, and qualitative field methods.
