Printed copies of Volume 7 were distributed at the launch ceremony, where members of the Review and Editorial Boards, authors, faculty, and other students were present. This year, the Review Board comprises 35 students and the Editorial Board 12 students, representing several faculties and study programs. The launch was an opportunity to celebrate the collaboration and growth that the new volume represents.

Volume 7 features 10 academic articles from eight different study programs at NMBU. The topics vary from a review of photography as a method in research, to the role of small fish to improve micronutrient deficiency in rural Bangladesh, and the influence of social media on risk-taking behavior at Norwegian tourist attractions. For the first time the Journal allowed general submission of papers in Norwegian, and one such article is published in Volume 7.

Many students and staff participated in the celebration and stopped by to pick up a copy. The faculty advisor for the Journal, Prof. William Warner, welcomed everyone and opened the ceremony. Pro-rector Halvor Hektoen then held a great speech on the important role of the Journal in giving students experience reviewing and publishing academic articles. Co-Editors-in-Chief Tess Espey and Hanna Kavli Lodberg-Holm also discussed the Journal’s evolution since its first publication (in 2010) and reviewed new developments this year. Volume 7 is the product of the largest ever number of volunteers, who have contributed to both the high quality of the texts as well as its cutting-edge layout.
