NMBU e-learning is an open source learning platform where partners can establish joint seminar- and project rooms and coordinate communication in the educational initiatives. The platform gives partners, who otherwise have little experience with the use of learning platforms at their respective universities, an opportunity to test the usefulness of such a platform.
We used Moodle to build the e-learning platform, and the strategy for the use of NMBU e-learning in relation to educational projects is outlined below:

The Water Harmony project intends establishing a scientific and pedagogic consortium including 8 partner universities from Ukraine, Byelorussia,Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Norway to harmonize water related higher education to increase the relevance and quality. Professor Harsha Ratnaweera at IMT is the coordinator for this project.
- Agricultural Adaption to Climate Change is an international collaboration project between six universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro og Norway. The general goal of the project is to contribute through collaboration to increased knowledge and understanding within agriculture adaptation to climate change education and research. Professor Bishal K. Sitaula at Noragric is the coordinator for this project.
