The Learning Center

The Learning Center is a support unit for teachers at NMBU. Below is a list of our main services:

  • How to teach in a digital environment
    We provide support using digital tools in teaching such as Canvas, Zoom and Panopto. 
  • Video production for teaching
    We support teachers in the production of educational videos. Videos can be recorded at any location, but at our offices in the VET-building we have a green screen studio, and a smaller studio for podcasting or "do-it-yourself" video recordings. 
  • We are the secretariat for the Excellent Teaching Practitionare System at NMBU
  • We are the secretariat for the program that funds innovative teaching projects at NMBU
  • Support and advise the leadership at NMBU in educational administrative processes
  • The NMBU Writing Centre is a part of the Learning Centers services.

About the Learning Center

The Learning Center is NMBUs resource center for learning, and for use of ICT in teaching. Our role is to be sparring partners for the academic staff and assist their development and challenges for achieving the goal of teaching excellence and education.
