09:00 - 16:00 Full-day seminar on knowledge based nature management. NB. Requires separate registration (in Norwegian).

11:00 - 12:00 NMBU-produced ice cream is served inside of Matpiloten.

11:45 - 15:00: Lecture series: Get an insight into some of the exciting things happening at the university (in Norwegian).

11:45: Simple lunch, coffee/tea.

12:15: Welcome.

12:20: Water and sewage: Challenges and opportunities, by professor Arve Heistad and associate professor Kim Paus.

12:40: Foods of Norway – short-distance feed from our natural resources using biotechnology, by professor Margareth Øverland.

13:00: Sustainable financial investments: What, why, how? by professor Ole Gjølberg.

13:20: Drones and robots as research tools and new solutions in «Smart farming», by professor Morten Lillemo.

13:40: On plastic, slime and the heavy artillery of biology, by professor Gustav Vaaje-Kolstad.

14:00: Groundwater - how to make an invisible resource visible?, by associate professor Gunnhild Storbekkrønning Solli.

14:20: Badebyen Bergen – En tilgjengelig sjøfront for badeløver. Aspelin Ramm-nominated master thesis in landscape architecture.

14:30 - 16:00: We serve ice cream from our own cows outside the dairy building.

15:00 - 17:00: Guided tours in forsøksfjøset Ås gård, the Veterinary building and on Campus.

 

21:00: Doors open at Samfunnet. Concert with Hellbillies (self-financed). Tickets can be purchased at Linticket.
