About the Ethics Committee

NMBU’s Ethical Committee has an advisory role in issues of an ethical nature. One person may be appointed as case handler in issues of misconduct and as approving authority in connection with the use of people in surveys, participant observation during field work and the like. An approving authority may also be appointed in connection with the use of genetically modified organisms in research. The Ethical Committee may also handle issues at the instigation of students and staff.
