We have a stage and new technical equipment for the execution. Initially, this is an offer for students and staff at NMBU.
Examples of events that can be suitable on the premises:
- Book launches
- Lectures and debates on current topics
- Dissemination of content in own master / Phd
- Science stand-up
- Celebration of publications and the like
Capacity
The library room can be adapted to different types of events with chairs and tables and has room for approx. 50 people.
It is also possible to stream events from our premises.
The events and number of participants must be adapted to current national and local infection control measures for Covid-19.
Technical equipment
Anyone who rents the library room can use the library's technical equipment. The University Library can provide technical assistance for this before the event is held.
Marketing
The organizer must be responsible for the main marketing, but the University Library can be helpful in posting information and sharing the event on the library's website and in social media.
Serving
We have our own kitchenette and long table in the library which is suitable for serving food and drink.
The person who rents the premises must furnish themselves (set up chairs, tables, etc.) and decorate the room, order food and drink, and clean up after the event.
