About this course
The course teaches autonomous navigation for mobile robots. Topics include localization, path planning, motion planning, and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping). Students will use Python and ROS (Robot Operating System) when working on autonomous navigation in simulation and on real robots. In addition to learning basic concepts, the students will also be introduced to experimental and state-of-the-art navigation systems.
Learning outcome
The student should be familiar with basic concepts related to autonomous navigation, and they should be able to apply what they have learned on real robot systems.
