Webinar series: Making Zoom Teaching Interactive and Fun: Practical Examples
12:00 - 13:00
We are following up on our previous webinar series about active learning, and this time we are focusing on practical examples.
From 12:00-13:00 the next three Fridays we will explore interactive and fun learning activities that can promote a sense of connection in the online classroom. There are various technological tools that can encourage interaction in innovative ways to make your students feel more connected and encourage them become active rather than passive participants in their own learning. This can even be relevant to traditional classroom learning.
The dates and topics for the webinars are:
February 19th: Student collaboration
- How to encourage student-to-student collaboration with easy-to-use tools, both within and outside the time-frame of a lecture.
February 26th: Student brainstorming & questioning
- Focuses on quick ways for students to engage with the professor throughout the lecture.
March 5th: Student polls
- Provides fun ways to poll students on their responses and understanding of the lecture.
All the webinars will be in English. In case you are not able to join live, recordings of the webinars will be available on the Learning Center’s webpage https://www.nmbu.no/ansatt/laringssenteret.
