About this course
The master thesis consists of a report from an independent research work carried out in the last term of the study. The subject is compulsory for the master's degree. The student will receive guidance throughout the process by an appointed supervisor. The guidance should ensure that the student gets advice on literature, practical advice on data collection, and that ethical guidelines for the research are followed. The exam consists of the submission of the thesis and an oral examination in the form of a presentation and discussion about the task. The oral examination might lead to an adjustment of the exam grade. As an alternative, the thesis might be written as articles, with an initial umbrella.
